Justin is a highly accomplished coach with over 20 years of experience in the sports industry. He has worked with top athletes such as Olympic gold medalist Justin Gatlin, third overall MLB draft pick and four-time all-star Eric Hosmer and the second-fastest man in history, Yohan Blake. He is also the head Olympic coach for St. Kitts & Nevis and a USA coach for four-time medalist from the Tokyo Games, Nick Mayhugh. He has trained more than 50,000 athletes and helped prepare hundreds of college and future NFL players for their Pro Days and the NFL Combine. As the CEO of Athlete HQ, Justin developed the Athlete Centric Model, which emphasizes the complete athlete: mind, body and spirit. Justin is the author of the #1 best-selling book Man Up - The 5 Areas of Athletic Success and teaches the Art and Science of Speed Training Certification with legendary Olympic coach Henk Kraaijenhof. Justin Kavanaugh is an accomplished coach and leader with a diverse range of experience in the sports industry. His academic interest was in Biology, with a concentration in neuroscience, which has given him a deep understanding of the human body and mind and has enabled him to adapt the clinical knowledge to the transfer of sport.

With over 20 years of experience in coaching, Justin has helped to develop some of the world’s top athletes, including Olympic gold medalist Justin Gatlin and third-overall MLB draft pick and four-time all-star Eric Hosmer. He is also the head Olympic coach for St. Kitts & Nevis and a USA coach for Nick Mayhugh, who was a four-time medalist at the Tokyo Games. Justin’s coaching expertise extends to Yohan Blake, the second fastest man in history, who he has helped to become one of the most respected and successful athletes in the world.
